1. How close is the beach?

We are 1 mile up from Launiupoko Wayside Beach Park. This beach is great for swimming and easy surfing. There are other awesome swimming and snorkling beaches within 5-15 minutes in either direction - we can direct you to our favorites once you're here. [Return to Top]

2. Is there a kitchen for guest use?

While guests are more than welcome in the main living area and poolside, the kitchen is not available for guest use. There is a small refrigerator in the hallway outside your room which is stocked with complimentary bottled water and soft drinks. [Return to Top]

3. How far is Ho'oilo House from the airport?

We are about 45 minutes from Kahului International Airport. We will include a link to our driving directions with your reservation confirmation email. [Return to Top]

4. Do we need a rental car and is parking included at Ho'oilo House?

We highly recommend you rent a car while on Maui. We are a 5-10 minute drive from Lahaina, and cabs are approximately $26 roundtrip. Parking at Ho'oilo House is included with your room. [Return to Top]

5. Is there good snorkeling nearby?

There is great snorkling within 5-15 minutes of Ho'oilo House. We can direct you to our favorite spots once you're at Ho'oilo House. [Return to Top]

7. Are children welcome to stay at Ho'oilo House?

Ho'oilo House is designed as an adults only property. We do allow children over 16, but they will be in their own room in accordance with our 2 person per room maximum. Exceptions can be made for small babies. Please email us with your questions. [Return to Top]

8. How do I know if you have availability during my travel dates?

Please visit our availability calendar on the Reservations page of our website to check your travel dates. We typically update the calendar at least once a day. [Return to Top]

9. Do you offer Internet access?

Yes, we have a couple of options. We have Ethernet cables available for use in your room. We also have a wireless system available for equipped personal laptops throughout the property. We do not offer access to a computer but can direct you to an Internet center in Lahaina. [Return to Top]
