into what is commonly referred to as 'Maui Mode' is not difficult.
The warm sun, island breezes, chirping birds, and the sway of

Maui Romance
Enjoy a romantic evening as you watch the Maui sky

Xtreme Maui
For the
adventurous couple, this extreme package includes surfing
the Maui nalu (waves) and
soaring through the West Maui Mountains. This is for the true
adventure seekers and does come with physical requirements.
- Rivers to the Sea
- Two Hour Private Surf Lesson
Whatever your level, from beginner to advanced, Tide and
Kiva Rivers offer one-on-one or two-on-one Private Surfing
Adventures created especially for you. A morning or afternoon
surfing with two Maui born and bred surfers is an experience
to remember. Featured in several national publications
they have also instructed Hollywood stars including Zach
Braff, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Adrien Brody. You and your
partner will surely enjoy the shared 2-hour lesson.
- Skyline Eco-Adventures
- West Maui Zipline Tou
This tour begins in the Ka'anapali area. You will be driven
from The Fairway Shops to a staging area to be fitted with
zip equipment, and then transported farther into the West
Maui Mountains via van. There you will begin zipping across
lush valleys with spectacular views of the mountains and
the Pacific (with Lahaina in the foreground). This tour
includes lunch.

Magnificent Moana
Moana means 'ocean' in Hawaiian. This package is
for water loving couples who can't wait to be in the refreshing
and rejuvenating Pacific. Both detailed activities are included
in
the Magnificent
Moana package.
- Alii Nui - Morning Snorkel Sail
Alii Nui frequents
a secluded coral reef abounding with colorful reef fish.
You can participate in a guided "snorkel
safari" with the trained water specialist - snorkeling
on a secluded reef abundant with sea life including the
green sea turtle, an endangered species. All snorkeling
equipment is provided complimentary including optical masks
and wet suits. There are also "boogie boards" with
viewers used as a floatation device. Instruction is given
to individual needs and level of experience. A light breakfast
and full lunch are included in the 5 hour tour.
- South Pacific Kayaks - Ukumehame Snorkel Safari
This adventure
showcases stunning coastlines and pristine tropical waters
teaming with sea life and colorful coral
reefs just waiting to be discovered. Your kayak excursion
takes you along secluded coastlines where you often encounter
the famous green sea turtle, playful dolphins and the majestic
humpback whale (in season) all in their natural environment.
The Ukumehame tour provides easy paddling while enjoying
the breathtaking views of the Ukumehame Valley. This tour
includes snacks and beverages.

Whale Foundation (one of our favorite non-profits on the island)
has created a unique Volunteering
on Vacation program. We encourage our guests
to truly be a part of Maui while visiting our gorgeous isle.
Sign up for a 3 hour project and you will receive a complimentary
Volunteering on Vacation tote bag, learn about the history and
environment of our natural areas, meet local experts, and make
a difference on Maui. (Most projects are three hours, but there
are multi-day projects available.)
In addition to the benefits provided by Pacific Whale Foundation,
Ho'oilo House will be providing 2 single-class yoga passes at
Island Spirit Yoga - giving you a chance to care for your body
and soul after caring for Maui's.
