We welcome private and intimate weddings. In fact, we have created two wedding packages with our preferred wedding coordinator that we feel are the perfect beginning to a wonderful event at Ho'oilo House.

If you prefer to use another wedding coordinator, please read the following policies and confirm with your coordinator that he or she is able to abide.

 

FOR WEDDINGS WITH 2-25 GUESTS:

Guests - Ceremonies and receptions can have a maximum of 25 guests. This number includes children. Children are welcome as guests at your event but are not permitted to stay overnight at Ho'oilo House, and we do require you provide adequate supervision.

Facility Fee - $3,000, plus tax for use of grounds and gazebo. The total is due 60 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable.

Deposit - A cleaning/damage deposit of $1,000 will be held by Ho'oilo House. Guests are responsible for having the area cleaned after the event.

Room Requirements - All six rooms must be rented for a minimum of 3 nights. The three night minimum will include the day before and after the event.

Receptions - Limited receptions are allowed and must be catered. Your caterer is responsible for providing all serving materials, set-up and clean up. Our kitchen is only available as a prep area for your caterer--all cooking must be done off-site. All plans must be approved by Ho'oilo House in advance. We do not allow amplified music.

Hours - Quiet hours are enforced between 10pm and 8am.

Restrooms - Ho'oilo House does not have a publicly accessible bathroom. Kohola and/or Nalu will be made available during your event. Your guests booked in these rooms should be made aware in advance.

Weather - Wedding coordinator must be able to provide tents in the event of rain.

Cancellations - Cancellations must be made 60 days prior to arrival for a full refund of your room charges. Cancellations made within 60 days of arrival will result in a full or partial refund ONLY if we are able to re-book the same room for all or part of the same time period.

FOR WEDDINGS WITH NO GUESTS:

Guests - Ceremonies may have a maximum of 2 witnesses and no guests.

Facility Fee - $750, plus tax for use of grounds and gazebo. The total is due 30 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable.

Room Requirements - Bride & Groom must be staying at Ho'oilo House for a minimum of 3 nights.

Receptions - Receptions are not permitted for guests renting less than all of our guest rooms.

Weather - Ceremony may be held inside in the event of inclement weather. This is ONLY the case with ceremonies attended by a maximum of 2 witnesses and no guests.

Cancellations - Cancellations must be made 30 days prior to arrival for a full refund of your room charges. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival will result in a full or partial refund ONLY if we are able to re-book the same room for all or part of the same time period.
